Using PLR E-Books

One funny thing about this biz is the way it brands you
based on your most recent releases - a few years ago it
was ‘hey - you’re that Super Bloggers guy!’ - then two
years ago it was ‘Hey - you’re that video guy!’… Then
yesterday a prominent IM pro wrote for my review of his
upcoming PLR event, and the note started with ‘As the
reigning PLR expert your opinion on this…’

OK - so now I guess I’m ‘That PLR Guy!:) It’s not
surprising, since in the last 3 months we’ve released

a) The PLR Tutorial Videos ;
b) Becoming A PLR Pro ;
c) Mining PLR Gold ;
d) NichePLR ;
e) Easy Articles Pro ;
f) Article Sites Kit Pro

And of course, the next round of FreePLR starts next
week on Feb 17th - the PLR Giveaway we do with
Xavier Nelson that started 2 years ago…

Hmmm - think there’s a trend developing here?  ;)

Truth is, we started the blogging stuff a few years
back when it was just becoming a factor in IM, we started
the Video stuff when we saw the biz going that way (we
had the 3rd-ever IM video online, after Willie Crawford
and Jim Edwards.) In today’s arena, PLR articles and
products
are the most powerful weapons we have, short of
writing our own or using a ghostwriter. For most people
in our online family those are too advanced for their
current operation, so PLR becomes the ultimate weapon.

So that makes this week’s SevenBucks.com
all the more important - with 4 PLR e-books in the bundle,
and 6 more available in the OTO on the download page. But
what do you do with them?

The simplest thing is to just take the salespage that
comes with them and put them online at 6 or 7 times the
price you got them for. If you’re just getting started
online, that’s the best idea. Unless, of course, you’re
ready to move up to the next level.

Those with a bit more experience should use the four
e-books individually - add information and links to your
products at the back of each e-book & then make PDFs of
them, with the cover and title page having ‘brought to
you by…’ or ‘Presented by…’ and your name, to help
brand you world-wide. (The more people recognize & trust
you, the better you do in this biz.) Create your own
salespage or have one written for you, and put each
new e-book online one by one, building a loyal following
(and your opt-in list) along the way.

The most advanced use of PLR e-books, for those with
enough experience and resources, is to use them to push
your own products or services. For example, the PLR
e-books at SevenBucks.com  this week can be
given away - so brand them and then use them as a gift
to build your list.

Maybe you already have a product online that goes along
with one or more of these - so make this one a bonus to boost
your conversion rate
.

Or take it to the highest level - find or create your
own e-book on the same subject, then break the PLR product
down into a series of 400 - 600 word articles. Use a few
to build a site, a few more to build a blog on the site,
and the rest in an e-course available from the site. Put
the salepage for your own product on that site, link to it
from every page of the site, blog about it and put both
PS’s and a couple of solos for it in the e-course.

Use blog services like Technorati, Pingoat & MyBLogLog
with the blog and Web 2.0 sites like StumbleUpon, Digg &
Twitter with the site itself and you should start seeing
visitors and returns almost immediately. If you have the
skills or the bucks, use some audio and video to push it
as well, and you’ve got a full-fledged dynamo going for
you - then repeat the process with the other PLR you get
from SevenBucks.com  this week.
