The 140 character limit for Twitter posts can be very limiting sometime. But A way around it is to invite your Twitter follows to you blog for more information. No one should give up on their blog in favor of Twitter. Both are essential tools at this time. TweetDeck is a tool that all Twitters should be using. Thanks for the information that you posted here. I agree that using twitter is a great way to drive additional traffic to your regular blog. I have been using it for this based off advice from you and it is definitely paying off. You mentioned targeting who you follow so you get connected to your target market for your blogs. Do you recommend setting up multiple twitter accounts for different niches? I have a blog on traveling: http://travelingmiller.com and I also have sites for health and diet products. Should I set up at least 2 twitter accounts?

Yes – I recommend one profile/account for each niche since each is of interest to a different crowd, for the most part. Just log out of one and into the next in TweetDeck to handle each, and keep your sessions to 5-10 mins per account to keep them from chewing through your day.
