Putting Your FreePLR Gifts To Use Online…
It’s Monday, March 9th – the final day to get your free gifts with unrestricted private label rights from the FreePLR Giveaway. If you haven’t grabbed yours yet, download them for free right now – we can all use 20 brand new resources with full PLR rights!
If you’re seeing this after the 9th, the event will be over – so sign up for the announcement list at the site so that you’re aware of Round 7 when it launches in August. Unrestricted private label rights are the most versatile rights you can get to any product, so a chance to get them for free should never be passed up!
Once you have the PLR products, then what? Well, it’s time to formulate your plans as to how to a) build your list with them, b) convert them to your own branded products and get them online for sale, and c) Use them to virally brand yourself to a ever-widening audience worldwide.
Before going any further, you need to choose which of the gifts most closely match the products, services or information you currently have online. Do they fit with your own products, the Master Resell Rights products you have online, or the affiliate products you’re promoting? Are they aligned to the same target market as your blog posts or AdSense sites?
Since the bulk of the gifts are e-books, start by converting those – edit them as much or as little as you feel is needed based on your goals, add your own name as author and get them ready to put online. If you’re not yet adept at converting PLR resources into your own unique products online, you’ll want to download a copy of our PLR Tutorial videos, which show you step-by-step how to handle each task.
Once you have the products customized, start putting them online. Begin with those that fit your existing sites, adding them directly into those sites. Once done, use the remaining ones as new sites – get an appropriate domain name and put them online.
Remember, you got the product for free, so spending $10 on a domain name and what little it costs for hosting is still far less than you would normally pay for any of these resources, even without the PLR rights thrown in. If you don’t already have hosting you can add sites to at will, check out Hosting 4 Marketers – it’s the service we use to host over 100 of our sites.
For $20 a month you get space for 10 or more mini-sites, unlimited autoresponders to use to promote the sites, and even an affiliate program you can use to get other people selling your products for you. This type of setup is perfect for these PLR gifts, since you can throw 10 of the products up, each on their own site, reducing the hosting cost for each site to $2 a month. So with a domain name for $10 a year and hosting for $2 a month, it doesn’t take a math whiz to see the potential here – one sale at $27 every 8 months keeps you in the black.
But remember, you have unrestricted use of these products, and that includes the right to give them away to build your opt-in lists. Once you’ve decided which ones to sell, brand the rest of them and modify it’s salespage into a squeeze page, so you can offer the free gift in exchange for people trying your e-zine. If you’re not familiar with squeeze pages and how they work, a couple of good examples are our PLR Explained report and our Affiliate Marketing Special Report page – each shows a different type of squeeze page you can use to get people to try your e-zine.
Now add these squeeze pages in a few spots online – yes, each of them in a few places. As a page (not post) on your blog, as a page on one or more of your sites, and as it’s own site on some of the space you have left at Hosting4Marketers. Since you already have those three virtual properties, there’s no cost to adding these to each, except for the domain name to go with the new spot on your Hosting4Marketers space.
Next up are the PLR articles you received. Mark out two evenings or one day on your calendar and set that time aside to sit and rewrite the articles. You don’t have to fully re-write every one of them – my formula is to pick the ten best in each niche and totally rewrite them, then rewrite just the first, last and one middle paragraph on the remaining ones. This may seem daunting at first, but you’ll quickly develop your own style for these and be able to ship through them in no time. Our Easy Articles Pro members go through 100 niche articles every month, so obviously it’s not the hurculean task it might first appear until you have experience rewriting articles.
Once your articles are prepared, look for affiliate products you can use the articles to promote. If you’re already receiving the free Pay Dot ClickBank Alerts each day you can skim through those for suitable products, but if you’re an upgraded PDCBA member simply log into the site and use the advanced search for that topic, and choose from those marked as ‘Rising Stars’ – these are products that have been online for a bit and are becoming more & more popular. Most times, that’s a safer bet than promoting new products which may flop.
When you have your affiliate links to go with the articles, it’s time to get them online. There are two simple ways to go from here – either use the articles to build a blog, or use the Article Site Kit Pro to turn all the articles into a web site in 5 minutes or less. The advantage to the blogging route is that you can use the blogging directories to promote them too, while the Article Site Kit Pro will automatically add your text links to the affiliate products based on whatever keywords you tell it to hyperlink.
If you’re really comfortable and adept at either method you might want to just use that one, but if not I suggest you do a couple of sites each way and see how they do over time – once you know which of the two methods best suit your particular style and online business audience, then you have a powerful weapon for using PLR articles on a regular monthly basis.
So there you have it, a number of ways to promote and profit from the free gifts you downloaded from the FreePLR Giveaway – or, for that matter, any other PLR e-books or PLR articles you might already have. And if you prefer to create your own products and use those only, re-read the above for great tips on how to proceed, both with your product creation and with setting them up online for maximum monetization. After all, we may be work-at-home entrepreneurs and monopreneurs, but the fact remains we all want to maximize our systems for making money online!
To your success with Private Label Rights products,
PLR Master Doug Champigny.

Doug, was this a blog post or a mini course? Wow! A lot of how to. I took your advice and signed up on Hosting4Marketers. Now I need to learn the new set up. Tomorrow I will try to tackle some of your other suggestions.

Doug,
You summarized a full blown PLR course in a few sentences.
The cost/benefit ratio is clear. Time to do it is likely the limited factor. But I noticed, by doing it, it seems to go faster each time. And once done it is a site almost on auto pilot.
FreePLR Giveaway Round 6 has great products. So much better then what is available at a price elsewhere.

Great tips Doug!
There are so many ways that you can use PLR content, and with the Free PLR giveaway, there’s no excuse to not getting free quality PLR products that you can use.
If someone just takes action on one of the tips you mention, they will be way beyond many of the marketers out there.

Hello Doug
I’ve written a short report about how to make a PLR ebook ‘your own’ but you’ve shown me some new ones here.
I particularly like your tips on re-writing articles – make more changes to the best ones and fewer for the others.
The power of using PLR books and articles is, I believe, under-rated. But Alex Jeffreys, who is set to make $1million this year started his climb to fame only two years ago by re-writing a PLR ebook about Ebay (How to Milk the Ebay Cash Cow)!
I certainly intend writing more ebooks using PLR articles and ebooks and your tips will certainly help me.
Thanks for the great information.

Great post Doug!
So many suggestions. I think my head is going to explode!
In all honesty, you have offered some great suggestions for anyone with PLR that they have, whether from the PLR Giveaway 6 or from other sources. (Just may sure you check the terms that come with the product).
There are so many ways to use PLR products and you have covered most of them here.
Keep it up!

Thanks for that Doug. The quality of products was as usual very high at the Free PLR Giveaway. So refreshing not to just get the same old rehashed stuff. Your suggestions here are also very useful as to what the next step should be. Too many will just leave them lying on their hard drives!
