What do Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom & Internet marketing WunderGurl Cindy Battye have in common, other than great looks?

In 2003, Johnny Depp & Orlando Bloom starred in the first Pirates of the Caribbean, first of three (so far) in the series of blockbuster movies from Disney. Johnny Depp, as Captain Jack Sparrow, revolutionized and modernized the role of pirate as the loveable scallywag. Not since the swashbuckling movies in the 50’s had anyone had such a big effect on the pirate legends – in truth, Johnny Depp gave the pirate image back it’s luster, which had been slowly eroding for 50 years.

Depp made being a pirate cool – plain & simple. And now Cindy Battye is making it profitable too – legally! With her partner Soren Jordansen, the pair are about to launch ClickBank Pirate, making it much simpler for affiliate marketers to potentially make a lot more commissions from their affiliate marketing – and bring their income time horizon much closer!

Now, the term ‘pirate’ is often associated with negative practices online, such as illegal duplication and various ‘black-hat’ technologies, so let me state up front that ClickBank Pirate is completely ‘white-hat’, legal and even morally sound. They’ve used the Pirate designation because they’ve updated and seemingly perfected the concept of a ClickBank Treasure Map.

Having been granted access to the back end of the site (probably because I look more like a pirate than any other Internet marketing mentor LOL), I immediately signed on as a JV partner and affiliate – that’s how powerful I think this new system of theirs can be, especially for those who are just starting affiliate marketing or have been at it a while without much success to date. They’ve kept up an impeccably honest reputation by eliminating most affiliates’ fears – ClickBank collects the money from every sale of a product in their service, then pays the affiliates separately from the merchants. This protects the affiliates from unscrupulous merchants who may or may not pay out, and removes the task of tracking and paying affiliates from the merchants’ list of time-eating activities. A win-win situation for both sides of the affiliate marketing equation.

A number of products and sites have dealt with how to do well in affiliate marketing using ClickBank’s services, and in fact I’m launching a new blog about ClickBank affiliate marketing myself that will teach some advanced strategies. But Cindy and Soren know that unless a marketer is very advanced, or already successful enough to have a big outsourcing budget, the new reality in Internet marketing requires a skillset that new affiliate marketers, in fact almost all Internet marketers, don’t have.

This is why you’ve witnessed the huge gulf in affiliate commissions between what the ClickBank super-affiliates make and what the average affiliate makes. No doubt you’ve seen the screenshots and stories about people making 4, 5 and 6-figure commissions MONTHLY on ClickBank, while the reality for most affiliates is they don’t even know HOW to do that, never mind all the details involved in setting up a truly profitable affiliate funnel.
