Internet Marketing & Affiliate Marketing Help – Live Or Online?

You’re reading this online marketing blog, so obviously you’re into Internet marketing, affiliate marketing or both – or you’re doing your research, looking to get into the biz, right? So tell me – what do you find is the best way for YOU to learn about the online marketing trends, about what’s working now and where the industry is headed?

For example, are you attending the live Internet marketing events? I love speaking at live marketing events because I can talk one-to-one with a lot of our online family and give them advice on the spot that’s specific to their biz. Teri & I got to know a lot of newer marketers at Mark Hendricks’ Internet Marketing Super Stars Conference (ISSC) in Orlando this past January, so I’m really pleased to be speaking there again next January!

I’ll also be speaking at Ken McArthur’s JVAlert Live (JVAL) in Philadelphia two weeks from today and at David Perdew’s Niche Affiliate Marketing Seminar (NAMS) this coming August. If you’re going to be at either, or even in that area while the conferences and seminars are on, please don’t hesitate to come up and introduce yourself – Teri & I only bite those who enjoy it! Seriously though, we’d love to offer some advice, so DO be sure to meet us there, ok?

But because we realize not everyone can currently afford to get to these events or may live somewhere that makes it hard to get to the States, we also have launched our intensive PowerStart Marketing coaching classes for people to access online. These are designed for marketers ranging from complete newbies to those who are doing ok with their online business but want to do a lot better – in a nutshell, anyone not already making 6 figures a year online but willing to take massive action to get to that point.

Which course is best for YOU depends on your current focus and how quickly you want to establish your business… Our Internet Marketing coaching program is a 4-week intensive hands-on crash course – you’ll probably learn more in those 4 weeks than you have in the past 2 or 3 years, but it’s a LOT of effort – you’ll need to put in at least 20 hours a week on your biz during the course. You still learn how to build your lists, drive traffic, create podcasts & videos and the whole 9 yards but the focus is on promoting products and services as an affiliate as opposed to your own products…

You’re very right that everyone learns in different ways, so meeting in person can be more helpful than a set of videos. But what I like about your coaching program is that you offer all kinds of support, you do live webinars, but also videos to explain it all, with your live support throughout the week. A great deal for anyone wanting to get started!

If there was an Oscar award for greatest coach and mentor of the year…Doug Champigny would win it hands down. I feel that I can learn loads there and it would be such a breather from reading articles.

A few weeks back I attended a seminar and learned a great deal on a variety of topics. I think I took away some useful info, but there is no way I could effectively use and retain the wide variety of content in so many different topic areas.
Back in February I took your intensive internet marketing coaching course, and almost because of the intensity, I was forced to work consistently on the single focused effort and as a result learned a lot more, a lot quicker and broke through a couple of personal barriers, particularly in the area of using video.

You do a great job and have been an excellent resource, and I thank you for all you have done.

I particularly liked the videos and the fact that I can go back and review them. The still missing ingredient for me beyond overcoming my own weaknesses in actually focusing my attention on key projects and not getting scattered on many, is a frank review and critique of my various online enterprises.

The Skype group you set up with your course does go a long way to providing good support, and has been very helpful addition to your coaching. A case study analysis of students projects might add some extra value though, and provide a chance to do some direct feedback without getting too time consuming.

I like your idea of the case studies – there isn’t enough time to include them in the current 4-week Internet marketing crash course or the 8-week affiliate marketing coaching programs – as you know they’re already crammed with about as much as a person can learn in that time period. This fall we’re introducing a new advanced training program of longer duration, and case studies is one area I’ll definitely have to consider as part of the curriculum.

You are the Pioneer in training Internet Marketers through Web videos. When we actually view the video we understand a lot better and it becomes so easy to understand.
