How To Increase Your Affiliate Marketing Income

As an affiliate marketer, you should constantly be on the lookout for ways to increase your affiliate marketing income. There are several ways to do this, but some methods are much more effective than others.

First, be sure that you make the companies’ customers your customers. In other words, never send customers directly to your affiliate sales page. Instead, have them go to a squeeze page first where you can collect their name and email address. Then, you can add them to your email list, and start building a relationship with these customers for future sales, which will increase your income.

Next, do some cross promotions. Vacuum cleaner manufacturers often sell vacuum cleaner bags as well, or at the very least recommend a specific brand of vacuum cleaner bags. If you are selling a weight loss product, such as a diet pill, after a customer makes a purchase, let them know about exercise equipment, a diet cook book, vitamins, exercise clothing, or anything else related to weight loss that you sell as well.

Increase your income by doing more. If you worked at your affiliate marketing for forty hours this month, and made $1000, the chances are good that if you work at it for eighty hours next month you can double that income. Put forth more effort to earn more.

Track everything! Keep records of what promotions you are running, and how well the campaign is doing. If you run an ad in an ezine, track the clicks and sales. If you advertise in Google AdWords, again, track clicks and sales. If you publish a short ebook on your topic with your affiliate link included, track that as well. If you know what is working, you can do more of it to increase sales.

Start your own blog. Publish your own ezine. Write articles. Advertise in ezines. Purchase PPC ads. Give away free ebooks with your affiliate links included. Inquire about advertising on other high traffic websites. Leave no stone unturned, and you will see a dramatic increase in your sales.
