After spending a lot of time – probably too much time – on affiliate marketing and my Internet marketing coaching in 2009 and 2010, I vowed to get back to creating new Internet marketing products and assembling new training bundles for Internet marketers, affiliate marketers, niche marketers and those promoting offline businesses online in 2011. This decision was mostly because marketers need new strategies and techniques to thrive online in the new post-recession economic reality, partly because now more than ever a growing number of people need to make money online by starting an online business and partly because so many of our original offerings like the Internet Audio Video Pro bundle, the PLR Tutorial Videos bundle and my Advanced Marketing on Twitter system are all still gaining audience and continuing to help people increase their online profits after all this time…

And so far, the year is off to a great start that way – in January I released the Twitter Mastery bundle, taking the PDF Report and 21 how-to videos and bundling them with 3 other Twitter marketing and Twitter traffic guides to create a good standalone resource for marketing on Twitter that is also a great precursor to my Advanced Marketing on Twitter.

Now, Just barely into February comes my second bigger release of 2011, the Adsense Alive Pro bundle. What’s most interesting about this pack, which is available in Silver or Gold versions, is how the product evolved and what it evolved into…

Right now, the easiest and most secure way for someone to start an online business is to set up a WordPress blog with Adsense on it, leaving their time mostly free to develop their traffic generation skills – and that’s important because increasing web traffic is one of the few skills need at every stage and in every area of Internet marketing. And while Adsense earnings almost always start off very small and can be grown from there, seeing even that first little trickle of online income helps to buoy up the spirits and motivation of people first starting an online business.

Almost everyone who tries to make really big money online right from the start fails – witness all the complaints on forums about people ‘trying to make money online or two or three years now and haven’t made a cent yet’. If they had started out with Adsense they’d not only have made at least some money long before that, but their attitude and motivation would have been much more positive.

So in late January I put the Adsense Alive Theme Pack online, giving buyers 30 clean WordPress blog themes with the Adsense Code already embedded in optimal page locations and only requiring them to put their Adsense account number in one file to have their Adsense links in each ad on every page of their new blogs. And because I wanted this to help those new to making money online, I also created two how-to videos to go with the themes, one showing how to install a new WordPress blog securely in under 15 minutes, the other showing them how to install the Adsense Alive themes and add their Adsense code, so that between the two videos they could have their first blog online in under 20 minutes.

But that was just the start of it – it covered how to make money with Adsense and get their first Adsense blog or two online, but I knew that would only move them so far forward and then they’d need more guidance so I started developing the Adsense Alive PRO bundle. The original idea was to add the themes and a bit more advanced material to it, but I had no idea at that point how far I’d take it…

Starting with those 30 Adsense Alive blog themes and two WordPress installation tutorial videos, next up I created a new video tutorial exclusive to the Pro package, called the ‘Multi-Niche POWER BLOGGING‘ system. If you’re familiar with anyone making great money with Adsense, you know the majority of them have multiple sites or blogs in all different niches to attract the widest possible audience. The Multi-Niche POWER BLOGGING video, therefore, demonstrates step-by-step how to install numerous blogs at once, but all still within the same single hosting account under one domain name – remember this is aimed at newer marketers, and I don’t advise they rush out and buy dozens of domain names and multiple hosting till their online business – and their bottom line – dictates the need for it.

In the 16-minute video I actually go through the steps and install 5 new blogs on a site and add a different Adsense Alive theme to each, so that by the end of the video I could show them all 5 bogs and it was clear each could be in a different niche since each had a different look to it. The method shown in this how-to video could easily be extended as well, allowing even a newbie to install 10, 20 or 30 new blogs in one evening or a Saturday morning, as you’ll be able to tell when you watch the video.

So that brought up the next issue – if you’re installing multiple blogs at one time, you don’t have time to also write blog content for them all from scratch in short order. So I then added 300 PLR articles to the bundle, 10 articles in each of 30 different niches. But to make sure they understood the intent of the 300 PLR articles, I called them instead ‘starter’ articles, pointing out that since each buyer got the same articles they were doing no one any good, themselves or their readers, by posting them to their blog as they were. The idea to the articles is to save time in initial niche research and topic development by letting them start their blogs quickly by just rewriting the articles and adding their own ‘voice’ and insights to them.

OK – so now it takes them that much farther, but still only partially prepares people to continue to grow their online businesses from there – what do they do once the starter articles are gone? Successfully making money with Adsense also involves the aforementioned niche selection, keyword research, writing decisions, etc., so a guide to those areas was needed to complete their Adsense education – and was found in the Instant Adsense Profits bundle. This is a very powerful Adsense report with over an hour of Adsense training videos, so I bought the rights to it and added it in. A great resource, my only quibble being with ‘Instant’ in the title, so to soothe my conscience I point out right on the salespage to ignore that part of the tile and just accept it as a great tutorial on making Adsense profits.

Confident now that I had amassed the best, most complete Adsense tutorial and resources bundle online, I was happy with that end of the bundle – I had fulfilled all my original plans and promises for the product release… But to keep my reputation for always over-delivering, I wanted to add a bonus of two to the package.

I quickly realized it couldn’t be Adsense related – there was nothing left they needed to know on the topic that wasn’t already in the bundle. So to keep it useful to those downloading the Pro bundle, the only option was to take it to the next logical step in their online businesses – adding additional income streams to those blogs they had already built and were continuing to populate. So let’s show them how to add affiliate marketing to their Adsense blogs, I decided…

That led to the creation and inclusion of another exclusive how-to video, ‘Affiliate Marketing with Adsense Blogs‘. Here you’ll learn how to add affiliate buttons & banners to your blogs – adding them to the top or bottom of any sidebar, placing bigger buttons over two sidebars, placing banners at the top or bottom of your pages – even how to have those banners show up on every post except the home page, every post plus the home page or just on the home page – and finally how to embed buttons or banners just within any one post relating directly to the offer.

That made the final product an easy choice – with your beautiful new Adsense Alive blog themes so nicely displaying your powerful content, Adsense ads and affiliate offers, the last thing you want is a lot of ugly affiliate links messing up the flow, so you get the ‘WP Stealth Links Blog Plugin‘ as well. This lets you create shorter, more human-friendly links to use for those long affiliate links, and also means each link you use, on your own site or elsewhere, can point back to YOUR site first, so YOU get the link juice from the backlinks.

Wow – what a bundle, eh? Now it covers setting up Adsense Blogs AND affiliate marketing blogs and takes you all the way from your online business start up to the point you’re ready to boost your income even further by selling products too!

Hey! Wait a minute…

Suddenly the Adsense Alive PRO pack became Adsense Alive Pro Silver and a new Adsense Alive PRO GOLD level started to emerge… The Silver level still has everything above and is still a great package, but the GOLD level adds in products to sell too!

Whereas all the resources in the Silver bundle are for your personal use, why not make master resell rights available to some of them too, so you could take it that much farther and SELL products online as well?

So the new PRO GOLD level has everything that’s in Silver, PLUS master resell rights to the Adsense Alive Theme Pack, the Instant Adsense Profits bundle and the WP Stealth Links Blog Plugin! You’ll note this isn’t resell rights to the entire Adsense Alive Pro bundle – that bundle’s only available on the Adsense Alive website – but it DOES now give you three products to sell along with your Adsense income and affiliate marketing commissions… Sweet deal!

So now I had the perfect Silver level and an even better Gold level – all that was left was what to use as a bonus with the GOLD level? And then it hit me!

The master resell rights to the Adsense Alive Theme Pack lets you use the themes to build blogs to flip – that is, to sell blogs you’ve built. Since most flipped blogs are built quickly just for that purpose, they usually only have Adsense or Adsense and affiliate offers on them – exactly what the package has shown you by this point! So that made Blog Flipping Secrets the perfect training bundle to use with the PRO GOLD package, and including the master resell rights to it gives you a fourth product to sell online as well – a perfect fit!

Finally, the Adsense Alive PRO Pack – Silver and Gold levels – is complete! It has evolved into an amazing package that could very honestly be marketed as…

• How To Start An Online Business

• How To Start Blogging For Money

• A Complete Adsense Blogging Biz-in-a-Box

• A Complete Blog-Flipping Biz-in-a-Box

• A Complete Affiliate Marketing Start-Up Kit

• A Complete Internet Marketing Start-Up Kit

But to be honest, by the time I’d already put this whole thing together, I was too tired physically and too far behind schedule to go through and rebrand it all… So it is, and will stay, The Adsense Alive PRO Pack – even though it does so much else for you beyond what the name implies.

In fact, the only thing it’s missing is it’s home in YOUR Internet marketing arsenal – and you already know how to fix that, right? ;-)

How To Make Recurring Internet Marketing Income From Non-Recurring Opportunities

©2009 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

There are a lot of people out there right now telling marketers and affiliate marketers to focus on membership sites so they make recurring income. While that is a great way to go, the advice is fairly misleading from an advanced Internet marketing viewpoint. While not true of every site, most can be turned into recurring income, even those that only offer one-time commissions.

How is this possible if the site doesn’t offer recurring income? Can you really turn it recurring anyway?

Of course you can, and you probably already know how to do it – it’s just that the water’s been muddied by those trying to sell you guides to building membership sites. Now there are some you can’t, or at least might as well not, turn recurring, like firesales, limited time offers and products bound to be outdated a month after their release. But just about any other site is worth the effort to make recurring if it’s good enough for you to promote in the first place.

You see, where people miss the point is that there are two ways to make recurring income from your efforts – the one everyone focuses on is sites, like membership sites or services, that charge a monthly fee and pay out month after month for as long as the person remains a customer. But because the people pointing that out are just trying to sell you a script or info on how to do that, they ignore the much bigger opportunity – making residual income by constantly referring new people to the site!

Now while you can do that by promoting a site or service non-stop, that certainly isn’t what I’m advocating here – you’d be limiting yourself far too much. To truly make it recurring income in the popular sense of the term, you need to make those recurring sales from your initial promotion, not from ongoing efforts.

And that’s where properly structuring your promotions come into play – use promotional strategies that keep sending targeted traffic to the site long after you’ve moved on another 5, 10 of 20 products. Start by setting up a site or blog to promote the product – remember, this works for your own products or affiliate marketing efforts equally. Populate the site with good solid info, either articles, videos and/or podcasts you’ve created yourself, had ghostwritten or created from related PLR materials. If you plan to be doing a number of promotions each year, get the free automatic blog installer from Alex Sysoef – not only does it make it push-button simple, it even installs the SEO plugins for you as well.

Next, set up a squeeze page offering an ethical bribe – a report or videos on the same or related topic in exchange for people opting in to your list. Write this report yourself or convert a PLR product that allows you to give away the converted PDF file – this way you start your promotions with a gift that has your links and recomendation for the product already embedded within it. For a great source of PLR products on a regular basis, check out Resell Rights Fortunes, the only PLR & MRR membership site that lets you search the product database by both niche and rights at once.

Next, set up an e-course on the topic in an autoresponder, and put the signup form on your new squeeze page so people downloading the gift are automatically added to that e-mail cycle. While every e-mail in the course should provide helpful, related information your prospect both wants and needs, each should also have at least one link to the product you’re promoting.

Now your new site is ready to promote the product on an ongoing basis – it’s ‘set & forget’. All that’s left now is to drive traffic to it on the same basis. The first step has already been achieved – you’ve created your content-laden blog and optimized it for the best SEO rankings. Tweet it a few times to get traffic flowing to it, and e-mail your optin list to get them headed there too. Next, create 10 or 15 articles on the topic – convert posts you’ve already put on the blog, write new articles or again rewrite PLR articles.

Use those articles to create HubPages, Squidoo lenses and Google Knowls, and tweet those too – then submit your articles to article directories around the net, using your Author’s Resource Box to point people to your free download.

Now create 5-10 videos and 5-10 podcasts from a mixture of your blog posts and articles. Submit those to the appropriate directories as well, like YouTube, Viddler and iTunes. Once again, tweet these links as well.

With a bit of practice, all of the above will have taken you 3-4 days to complete. Pinging your blog and tweeting it has brought your site to the attention of the search engines, and while your ranking may not be great yet, you should at least be listed in Bing, Yahoo! and Google by this point.

Take one more day on the product, this time finding related blogs around the net to post comments to. This can be done as easily as entering [keyword] blog into the engines, replacing [keyword] with your appropriate keyword, of course. Do a similar search for each keyword your targeted a blog post around, and comment on the top 5-10 blogs for each, linking back to the specific blog page that targeted that keyword, not just to the blog URL.

This is a very important step, and the most commonly overlooked one at that. Don’t scrimp on it if you want to earn ongoing income from all this work – spend at least one, if not two days on it. And be legitimate in your efforts – read the blog post and make an intelligent and helpful comment on each. You’re not just looking for a backlink for the search engines here, you want people to recognize your expertise and click through to your site from that blog too. Besides, making garbage, spammy or generic comments won’t help – most pro bloggers will delete those rather than approve them, thuse making your effort a waste of time. Be legit or quit – it’s that simple.

When all of the above is done, if you’ve targeted the right keywords and done a good job on the rest of it, you’ll have built a machine that can keep funnelling in targeted prospects and passing them along to the salespage for quite some time to come. While ongoing sales aren’t likely to be as high as when you were actively promoting the product, that doesn’t matter – whatever sales it brings in are added to your earnings from your current efforts, and once you have a number of these in place your residual or recurring income can mount up to be a nice-sized bonus.

And if you tie this sytem into an offer that’s already offering recurring commissions, like Hosting, Services and Memberships, you can multiply your automated income that much more!

The power of Twitter and WordPress blogs are brought together through a fantastic WordPress plugin called Tweet My Blog. The brainchild of John Merrick and Soren Jordansen, this is one of the most powerful plugins for the Internet marketing, niche marketing and affiliate marketing bloggers.

Once set up in your blog’s Plugins section, the software posts your new post titles to your Twitter account with a link bank to the post every time you update your blog. While you could do this manually, we’ve all gotten too busy at times to do our full procedures with the Web 2.0 and social networking sites – and other times simply forgotten to let our Twitter followers know that we’ve posted valuable new information.

Well no more! Now you can simply put the Tweet My Blog plugin into your wp-content/plugins/ directory, activate it, tell the plugin what your Twitter ID and login information are, and go back to happily blogging away, knowing your posts are all being announced and linked to for your Twitter followers to see.

NOTE TO CURRENT TWEET MY BLOG USERS:

This morning John and Soren announced an update to the Tweet My Blog plugin – an update to allow for recent Twitter changes in the shortening of URLs posted in tweets as they show up at Twitter. Upgrade to the new plugin now, since your existing plugin will not function properly since the changes at Twitter.

Upgrading is super simple, though, so no worries there. Log in to Tweet My Blog and download the update, unzip the three files in the plugin directory, and upload them over those same three files as they exist on your site right now. That’s it – it retains your existing configuration and Twitter login information, so no more action is needed. Once done, your blog posts will show up as valid links back to your blog from Twitter once again with each new post.

If you’re not using Tweet My Blog yet or need to get the update, simply click here for the Tweet My Blog download. If you need more information on using Twitter as part of your Internet marketing, affiliate marketing or niche marketing promotional efforts, see the information on the Road To Twitter Success website.

Last night I spent some time going through the new Blog Post Automator that Mike and Greg just launched. Mike Mazzella and ourselves have been friends for a couple of years now, both online and getting together with he and Sheri each time they come to Niagara Falls. So I know Mike well enough to know he’s a real stand-up guy, and wouldn’t be involved with the product if it wasn’t top notch – but I still had to see for myself…

I can’t believe how easy it is!

Even if the bundle didn’t include complete, step by step video training Gregg did himself, even a complete newbie could figure this one out…

You see, they’ve built the script into a plugin for WordPress blogs, so installation is as simple as any of the plugins you already use on your blog! Yet take a look at all the Blog Post Automator does…

Once the plugin is in, you just tell it which folder your text files are in, how often you want it to add a new post from that folder, and what category to list those posts under – then go on with everything else you have to do, knowing your blog’s taken care of!

Go ahead and download your copy right now while it’s still under twenty bucks from The Blog Post Automator blogging software site.

Empowering YOU To Dominate 2009…

Doug Champigny

PS – Did I mention you could also use this to post your podcasts to your blog? Give old PLR articles new life by recording them, then use the Blog Post Automator to add one every few days to your site – whether you’re blogging in between or not! Grab this baby now and you can be up to speed with it in just twenty minutes or so!

PPS – If you’re interested, you can pick up the Master Rights (MRR) to this one too – watch for a rights OTO once you order the personal use version – it’s only ten bucks more, and you should be able to make back what you laid out and make some more on top pretty quickly – I did with my first mailing on it! So go ahead and grab your copy, with or without the MRR, from the Blog Post Automator site.

Helping you succeed… DC.

When it comes to running your Internet marketing, affiliate marketing or niche marketing business online, chances are you’re like the other work-at-home monopreneurs – there’s never enough time to get everything done each day! Well, a major blogging breakthrough just released can help you save a LOT of time in your daily marketing duties!

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, our Marketing BlogZine or Captain Affiliate’s Affiliate Marketing Training Blog, then you already know how important blogging regularly is – there simply isn’t a more powerful online tool for driving traffic, promoting affiliate links and building relationships. So in a perfect world you’d be blogging every day, maybe even a few times a day, right?

Yeah, right – like you have time for that, eh? Even for me – and I’m a former reporter with 25+ years of advertising and marketing experience! I can write almost as fast as most people can discuss an idea, yet I still can’t find the time every day to be sure I’m getting posts up to all my various blogs.

So when I saw this new program that makes blogging fast and easy, I knew it was a winner!

Blog Post Automator Software makes blogging simple!

Blog Post Automator post articles to your blog – YOUR articles, uploaded as text files en masse. Until now, you either got snippets of other people’s blog posts, directory articles with links to other people’s sites in them, or nothing. Now you can upload articles you write when YOU have time, PLR articles you’ve modified when YOU have time, or articles you’ve had ghostwritten for you (outsourced).

There are plugins that let you post articles for future publication, but you still have to manually post them one by one. With the Blog Post Automator you just upload 5, 50 or 500 text articles at once – done! Have time one day to write a few more, or take delivery of 25 or 50 from your writer? No worries, just drag them to the folder.

What IS surprising is that they’ve kept the Blog Post Automator under $20 – one time, not monthly. And they’re throwing in the WordPress Unleashed Videos and Advanced WordPress Training e-book as bonuses – seems they really care about helping you succeed with your blogging – another nice change from the big launches lately, isn’t it.

So go ahead and download the Blog Post Automator now and take it for a spin to see what you think – it’s covered by their 100% money-back guarantee, so you really can’t lose on this one.

Claw back dozens, maybe even hundreds of hours from your future by using this great new tool – Happy blogging!

It’s not often that the best software in any given area of Internet Marketing is free, but Alex Sysoef of Expert WordPress has certainly raised the bar on free software – his WordPress Blog Installation software is amazing, and he’s letting you download it for free!

Free WordPress Blog Installation Software

With WordPress blog installer services running from about $50 to $4,000 online, as I watched Alex develop the Expert WordPress software, I expected the basic version to go for about $197, with the upgrade running to $497 or $997 – and knew that Expert WordPress would still be a bargain at those prices.

You see, this incredible software means you no longer need ANY technical knowledge to install secure, professional WordPress blogs – it even installs the best plugins for you. And all in three easy steps. And with the upgraded version, you can even offer a service to others, installing their blogs for them.

So you can imagine my surprise when Alex decided to let people have the basic version of Expert WordPress for FREE – and offers them the upgraded version for a low monthly rate. I mean, this is unheard of for software this powerful – especially since blogs are the single most powerful promotional tool online today for Internet marketers, affiliate marketers, niche marketers or any other work-at-home enterprises that involve running a business or promoting a business online.

Now even a complete newbie can install their own professional blog, complete with the top SEO plugins, completely for free, without having to learn cPanel, MySQL, databases, installing plugins or any of the other requirements normally associated with installing WordPress blogs.

This is the first true must-have Internet marketing software for 2009 – and it’s yours for free if you download it now… Can you think of any reason NOT to use Alex Sysoef’s Expert WordPress software in YOUR Internet marketing business?

I didn’t think so… ;) Download your copy and get your marketing and niche blogs going today, before Alex comes to his senses and stops giving away such powerful software for free!

To Your Success,

Have You Decided To Be Successful This Year?

© Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

To listen to an Audio Version of this article, click this arrow:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Here’s an important question for you… Have you decided to be successful this year?

At first, that might sound like a silly question – you probably said, right off the top, of course I have!

Everyone does – but most are kidding themselves. You see, chances are you already know what it takes to be successful online, or at the very least you know what the next few steps you should take are. Right? So have you? Have you started taking those steps?

You see, there’s a whole world of difference between WANTING to be successful and DECIDING to be successful. With the former you dream of what you’d do with all the bucks, all the toys, all the time, etc. With the latter you do the same – then go ahead and make it come true!

So when I ask if you’ve DECIDED to be successful in 2009, the real question is ‘Are you ready to ACT on that decision and bring your dreams to life?’ Or are you going to let another year go by where you leave it all up to fate, hoping your cubicle is still yours tomorrow, all the while hating going TO that cubicle 5 days a week?

When you’re ready to take action, your first and most important step is to learn to drive targeted traffic. Why first? Because targeted traffic is what makes squeeze pages, salespages, blogs and affiliate promotions successful.

Whether today’s mission is to build your list, sell some products or do well with an affiliate push, it’s your ability to drive targeted traffic that makes or breaks you. And that’s the one item usually overlooked when learning about Internet marketing, affiliate marketing or niche marketing.

You see, you’re always being told ‘The Money is in the List’ – meaning that it’s your opt-in list that gives you the ability to make a profit online at will. And that IS true – once your list is in the thousands. But they don’t point out what it takes to GET that list built up to that point first – targeted traffic.

Right now the Web 2.0 social sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace & MyBlogLog are all the rage, in large part because of the traffic they can drive to your sites. Add to that the online ‘authority’ sites like Squidoo, HubPages, Weebly & Google Knol, and you have a whole collection of potential traffic sources.

But it’s important to remember they’re PART of your traffic-generation arsenal, not the whole plan. Traditional traffic generation sources like on-site Search Engine Optimization, article marketing, teleseminars, joint venture giveaways, viral e-books and solo ad swaps with other marketers must still be employed.

That still isn’t it, though… Blogging is probably the single biggest boost to free traffic generation to come along since the invention of the search engines, and it’s evolution has now brought us to podcasting and video blogging as well. In fact, each of those is now becoming it’s own traffic source too, with podcast directories like iTunes and video hosting sites like YouTube drawing millions of viewers every month.

The most overlooked traffic source in the blogoshere is blog commenting; reading and offering relevant, related comments on other people’s blogs. By default, blogs use a ‘do not follow’ tag that stops search engines from finding your sites through your comments. But a growing number of intelligent bloggers have come to realize they should reward you for valuable interaction with their site, and now use a DoFollow plugin to give you that extra help whn you leave worthwhile comments on their blogs.

Some have taken it a step further, adding the CommentLuv plugin, which also then adds a link to your latest blog post after your comment. These links are gold – not only do they provide one-way links to your blog for the search engines to find, but they drive traffic directly from those blogs to yours, as people see post titles that interest them. After all, if they’re interested in the post they’re reading, see your relevant comment & then a link to a related post on YOUR blog, it’s only natural for them to click through and keep reading.

The same is true on forums, and help sites like Yahoo! Answers. The more targeted your response, the more helpful your posts, the greater the number of people who will click through to check out your blog – and a sign-up form for your opt-in list on every part of your blog will ensure that keeps the all-mighty list growing non-stop too!

So how difficult is it to build an ever-increasing flow of targeted traffic? Not difficult at all – it just requires time, effort, discipline and persistence. How expensive is it? It needn’t cost you a cent, although many of the tasks can be automated or outsourced, and your efforts multiplied many times over by using paid resources…

But consider this for a moment – this article alone has mentioned twenty different sources of free targeted traffic. Powerful enough resources to bring thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions of visiotrs a year to your site over time. Yet how many of them are you actually using so far? How consistent have you been in using them?

Time to take your targeted traffic generation a bit more seriously if this truly is your year to become successful, isn’t it?

See You At The Top…

Doug Champigny.

Internet marketing is a great way to make money online – enough to boost your income, replace your offline job and join the work-at-home crowd, or get rich online – depending on the talents, resources, effort and perseverance you bring to the table. If you’re in our online family, you already know that – in fact if you’re reading Internet marketing blogs like this you already know that too. So your online business is already up and running, thriving, and constantly moving ahead, taking your profits into the stratosphere slowly but surely, right?

What? No Internet marketing business yet? No opt-in mailing lists? No blog? No salespages or squeeze pages online? Don’t feel bad – for every 100 people who know the power of Internet marketing, only 1 or 2 have done anything about it so far. Just decide that today is the day that all changes for you, that you’re about to get off your butt and actually DO something to improve your lot, to start building your Internet business, and to take those first few baby steps towards your own dream lifestyle!

In the next few days – say by the end of a week – you can be set up and ready to rock. That’s what this post is for – to show you what it takes to get up and started quickly. Surely you can stay motivated for a week, right? And when you see how far you’ve gotten in that one week, you’ll realize that it’s not a tough business – it just takes steady, focused action to start your online business and keep your Internet marketing profits growing year after year.

If you’ve read my previous two posts, on Starting An Online Business and Starting An Affiliate Marketing Business, then you already have some idea of what it takes to get started, so today I’ll focus on how to get there quickly…

Your Most Valuable Internet Marketing Resource

Right now, without the hesitation that held you back throughout 2008, get your account at Hosting4Marketers.com. This is far more than just some cheap webhosting, because…

  • You get enough hosting space for more than a dozen websites, blogs, salespages and squeeze pages – that’s worth more than $20 a month, right?
  •

  • You get unlimited professional autoresponders – you can set up an automated follow-up series for each niche you’re in, for your mainstream Internet marketing, and still have the ability to send out broadcast e-mails to any subset of your lists or to all your subscribers at any time – and no rising fees as your list size grows! (Some services start raising your rates with as few as 500 or 1,000 subscribers – sheesh!) That part’s worth more than $20 a month too, right?
  •

  • You get your own affiliate program. That’s right – you get a fully-featured affiliate program so others can sell your products for you too! Your products don’t even have to be hosted there, so if you already have some products or services online hosted elsewhere, you can still use this affiliate program with those products, without having to move any of your other sites. This part alone is worth a small fortune on it’s own, isn’t it?

OK – now maybe you’re seeing why we think Hosting4Marketers.com is our most valuable Internet marketing resource – and why it should be yours too. Easily worth $97 a month or more, I’m still surprised that they’ve kept it to just $20 a month – I’d still be using it at 10 times that cost! (But don’t tell them that! lol) Go ahead and get your Hosting, Autoresponders and Affiliate Program now – I’ll wait, but just don’t forget to come back and continue on…

Setting Up Your Internet Marketing Blog

Now that you have that account, let’s get you rolling – this video shows you how to set up a blog on your site there in under 5 minutes. No, I’m not kidding or exaggerating – just follow along with that video and you can set up an Internet marketing blog (or any other types of blog) in under 5 minutes. Don’t keep reading – go now and set up your blog. Then continue on here…

Setting Up Your Internet Marketing E-Zine

OK – next up is your autoresponder series – you can write your own, or use the Internet Marketing Newsletter In A Box, prewritten with a year’s worth of content for you. All you need to do is add your name as the author to each issue, and add links to your own products or to products you make affiliate commissions from. ClickBank & PayDotCom are two of the biggest sources of affiliate products to market, so sign up here for Free Updates of All New Products launching at ClickBank & PayDotCom – you’ll get an e-mail once a day showing you the new affiliate opportunities listed at both services that day – what could be simpler?

Building Your Opt-In Lists – Getting New Subscribers

Once even the first 7 – 10 issues are loaded up into your autoresponder, it’s time to get your first opt-in subscribers. Standard procedure in the Internet marketing field is to offer them a valuable gift for free just for trying your newsletter. Here’s two gifts you can have for trying our e-zine, and we even give you the squeeze page to use so you can give them away and build your own list too! Take a minute right now and download your Free Report and Squeeze Page and your Free List-Building Resource and Squeeze Page. You can get more Free Brandable E-Books To Give Away too, which carry YOUR affiliate links and let you build more affiliate commissions from those getting your reports, and those they give it away to too!

Building Targeted Traffic To Your Blog

Now return to your blog and write one good blog post for each of the three or four free gifts you just downloaded, linking each blog post to the URL where you put the squeeze page for that gift. Us the post to tell them about the gift, what it’s for and what it can do for them – 3-5 paragraphs will do for each post. Once you have them all done, go to Pingoat.com and announce your new blog to the world.

Set up a free account at each of Technorati and MyBlogLog.com and get your new blog listed with each of them there too. After that, set up an account at Twitter.com, interact with the community there for a while, and then invite them to your blog as well. Do the same with Internet Marketing forums and social bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon, OnlyWire, etc.

And there you have it – step by step you’ve built the core of your new Internet marketing & affiliate marketing business, in less than a week and for less than $100 total investment. And your only ongoing expense to this point is your $20 a month to Hosting4Marketers.com.

Keep posting relevant information to your blog, branding and offering more free e-books to those who sign up for your mailing list, and e-mail that list at least 3 times per week. Remember to hit Pingoat.com after each blog post to tell the directories about your new posts.

Most importantly, be sure to bookmark this blog and return to it regularly – I’ll be adding more and more tips on building your Internet marketing business throughout the year! Internet Marketing 2009 – Starting An Online Business

Internet marketing has grown exponentially since it’s inception in 1994, as more and more people around the world start an online business either to earn some extra cash or to become work-at-home entrepreneurs to escape the rigors, stress and limitations of corporate existence.

And as 2009 dawns, the prospects for making money online through Internet marketing have never been brighter. While much of the offline world languishes through the Great Recession, those doing business online will still see growth this year with more people making money online through Internet marketing than ever before!

In terms of starting a business online, your first choice has to be what area of Internet marketing you want to begin with. For all intents and purposes, their are three different main categories to consider…

The easiest, and usually quickest way to start making money online is Affiliate marketing. This is usually the first step for Internet marketing since you don’t need your own products, can get started with a very low investment, and can often start bringing in the first profits in a relatively short time. To start affiliate marketing, a blog, an autoresponder and a method to collect opt-in subscribers is usually all that’s required at first.

Next up is mainstream Internet marketing, which is best described as teaching people to market online, and selling them the tools and resources to accomplish this. But be warned – this is probably the most competitive area of doing business online, and you’re competing directly with people who are expert marketers both online and offline.

Starting an Internet marketing business requires expertise – either your own or some purchased – such as products with resell rights or materials you outsource (have ghostwritten for you). And again, you’ll need a blog, an autoresponder to send out your e-zine and e-courses, and at least one, though probably many, websites.

The third option, Niche marketing, is usually the next step for those starting out with affiliate marketing, but you can choose to start off with it too. Niche marketing refers to specializing in products – tangible goods or digital downloads – that appeal to people in one specific niche, or area of interest. Popular niches to market to include travel, pets, health & fitness, kids, music, sports, etc.

If you have a hobby or passtime you love, chances are you’ll stay more interested and motivated with your niche marketing than if you pick a field you know little about or have no great interest in. Again you can create or purchase your products to sell online, and the main tools to start out with are the same – your blog and autoresponder, plus a site or salespage and lead-capture pages.

Take a bit of time to research each of the three areas, then decide on your initial area of focus and jump right in. There are a great number of us earning a comfortable living online through Internet marketing, and our ranks are growing daily… Shouldn’t YOU be pursuing your dreams and working toward YOUR dream lifestyle too?
