Avoiding Free Giveaway Burnout

Hope your weekend is going well, and that you’re making
good progress on your online biz - putting the time to
good use. I just finished checking out the gifts at
http://www.todays-featured.com and I must say I’m
pleasantly impressed!

Now understand, it takes a lot to make me think any
giveaway is a good, powerful resource, one good enough
to take up e-zine space telling you about it. Sure,
there are a ton of giveaways online these days - not
like way back in 2004 when I first launched the one at
Start The Year Right .

Back then, there were maybe 5 a year, if that - now
it’s like there’s a new one every week. So much so that
too many of our readers, perhaps even you, run the risk
of missing out on great gifts when the best giveaways
do come along.

It’s important to avoid ‘giveaway burnout’, where
people just decide not to bother checking out ANY of
the giveaways. First, http://www.Todays-Featured.com ,
http://www.YourFreePLR.com Â and others like them have
some great gifts you get for no outlay.

Yes, the truly worthwhile giveaways are few and far
between - but all the more reason to be sure you get
to them while the doors are open - there aren’t many
places giving you great resources for no outlay, now
are there?

I always check them out quickly, so I know when one
should be brought to your attention - which is why I
skip telling you about most of them and only bring you
the cream of the crop. Truth be told, even on the bad
ones I like checking out the OTO’s, the online version
of a garage sale, usually.

Getting great resources forÂ free is lovely - but
getting even better ones for next to nothing rates a
very close second to me. Both help me to make that much
more online - and that’s a good thing!

I’m especially impressed with what Mike has acheived
at http://www.todays-featured.com this week. All of the
modern giveaways claim all new products, but this is the
first one I’ve seen disqualify over half of the partners
because their gift wasn’t brand new. You see, Mike ran
all the gifts past 3 of us, all of whom run our own
giveaways, just to make sure we’d never seen any of the
products before - in giveaways or otherwise.

So these aren’t gifts you’ve seen before, nor old
products finished their lifecycle online - all are
new, ready to be put online as soon as the event is
over, when they’re no longer available as gifts. And
then to top it off he’s added a great OTO to the mix,
which wasn’t there when the event launched - so if
you were there early, head back and check out the new
OTO today, ok?

Either way, be sure to take a few minutes and go

and get the resources that can help you online - the
ones that fit what YOU’RE doing online, that help in
YOUR online biz.

Because that’s what your own efforts, the
