I installed Commentluv about a week ago so it’s probably too early to really notice any differences. I’m interested to see what effect it has on ranking and SERP’s but my main intent was to encourage comments and interaction on my own blog.

Comment Luv is excellent although the new Blogger plugin can be awkward to install. I did resolve the problems on 2 of my blogs but couldn’t use it on the others.

ComLuv is the new home for the CommentLuv plugin, and now includes a members' forum and free blog hosting for CommentLuv users, like the one I set up for Marketing Mastery. Right now the site is open to the 9,000 existing CommentLuv members only (those who registered their site when downloading the plugin), but Andy's plans are to open it up to new users soon.
