If you want to be successful at affiliate marketing, you must strive to become a super affiliate. A super affiliate is a person that makes a high number of sales each month consistently. These are the affiliates that merchants seek out, and they eventually become joint venture partners, making much larger commissions.

It takes a lot of work to become a super affiliate. You must build your opt-in list, and build your credibility in the market that you are promoting to as well. You must develop a good relationship with your list so that when you make recommendations of products, your list members are more likely to make a purchase.

Super affiliates work hard, putting in long hours to reach the rank of super affiliate. Never let anyone tell you it’s an easy road! They write articles and submit them weekly, they communicate with their opt-in list daily or at least several times a week. They participate on the forums in their niches.

They exchange and purchase ezine advertisements and they even run Google AdWords to promote various products and services. They also tweak and tune their websites to perfection and make them as search engine friendly as possible. They also take the time to learn copywriting skills so that they can write content that pre-sells the affiliate products that they are promoting.

While people with traditional jobs put in eight hour days, those striving to become super affiliates put in twelve to sixteen hour days. But in the end, it is all worth it. Eventually, they enjoy residual income and take part in joint venture deals that only require them to send an email to their list.

There are many tricks and tips to help affiliates become super affiliates – but when it is all said and done, be aware that what it really takes is work and the ability to stick with it!
